Tire Maintenance, the “Cornerstone” of Driving Safety

Tires are the only parts of the car that come into contact with the ground, bearing the weight of the entire vehicle. Their condition is directly related to driving safety, so daily maintenance cannot be ignored. First, regularly check the tire pressure. Too high or too low tire pressure will affect driving safety and tire life.
The standard tire pressure for most family cars is 2.3-2.5 bar, which can be adjusted according to the vehicle manual. In high temperature in summer, the tire pressure can be appropriately reduced by 0.1-0.2 bar, and in low temperature in winter, it can be appropriately increased by 0.1 bar. Secondly, regularly check the tire wear. When the tire tread wears down to the wear mark (about 1.6mm), it must be replaced in time to avoid slipping on rainy days.
It is recommended to rotate the tires every 10,000 kilometers to make the four tires wear evenly and extend their service life. At the same time, avoid long-term exposure to the sun and extrusion of the tires, park as far away from sharp objects as possible, and regularly clean the stones and debris in the tire tread to prevent damage to the tread.
